Tafadzwa Chikumbu is the Executive Director. He has over 14 years experience in Public Finance Management, Public Debt, Extractive Industries, Transparency and Accountability and Anti-corruption. He has contributed to policy research lobby and advocacy at national, regional and international levels. Tafadzwa holds a Master of Arts in Economic Policy Management from the University of Zambia and a BSc Honours Degree in Economics from the University of Zimbabwe.

Dakarayi Matanga

Dakarayi Matanga – Senior Research Officer
Dakarayi Matanga is the Senior Research Officer for Transparency International Zimbabwe (TI Z) leading the organisation’s Research & Information Unit (RIU). He has at least 18 years work experience gleaned from the development and private sectors in policy research, policy advocacy and strategic communications. His work in the development sector focused on leading advocacy efforts and civic education on public debt, global trade, and aid from a human rights perspective. He has also led NGO coalitions and social movements advocating on these issues at national and sub regional levels. In the private sector, he served as an advocacy officer for a local Business Membership Organisation (BMO), a technical advisor coaching local BMOs to succeed in public private dialogue (PPD), and company spokesperson for a leading telecommunications company listed on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (ZSE). He also served a stint in academia teaching International Relations and Global Economic Governance Institutions (GEGIs).He holds a Mass Communication Degree with Leicester University; as well as an MSc. International Relations and BSc. (Hons.) Politics and Administration Degrees, both earned from the University of Zimbabwe (UZ).

Fadzai Jekemu is our Legal and Policy officer. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the Nelson Mandela University and a Masters in Human rights, Peace and Development. Fadzai is passionate about human rights and in 2016 she was awarded the Manicaland Human Rights Defender award by the Zimbabwe Human Rights Association.

Samuel Jack Matikiti is our Research and Advocacy Officer based in our Mutare office. He joined TI Z in 2018. His professional interest lies in anti-corruption research, electoral integrity, gendered corruption and policy advocacy. Samuel holds a BSc. (Hons) Degree in Political Science and a Master of Science Degree in International Relations (MIR). Currently he is studying towards attaining a Doctorate (Ph.D.).

Her interests lie in human rights, democracy, administrative law, electoral law and women's participation, gender equity, public sector reform as well as the strengthening of independent democratic institutions.

Keith Bruce Sibanda is the Programs Assistant in the Bulawayo Regional Office. He holds a BSc Honours Degree in Peace Studies from the Midlands State University. Keith has an interest in deepening his understanding of peace, governance and sustainable Development, particularly in exploring the impact of structural violence for marginalized communities. He is an Alumni of the Transparency International Zimbabwe School Of Integrity (2021), Fredrich Ebert-Stiftung Zimbabwe Youth Leadership Program (2019), and Action Aid Zimbabwe, Creative Activism Trainer, Global Platform Zambia (2019).
